Brook Valley Residential Care Home is a CUSTODIAL Group Home located in a quiet, tree lined, picturesque, residential neighborhood. We offer private and semi-private furnished rooms in a home-like setting which is designed to enhance the quality of like of our residents while fostering independence.
We provide personalized support services to older adults, the disabled, or those who need assistance with the activities of daily living, but do not need skilled nursing care.
BVRCH gives families choices when it comes to caring for their elderly or disabled family members. Our home can be a life-long alternative to placing your loved on in a Nursing Home.
At Brook Valley Home, our goal is to help our residents and their families achieve the best quality of life possible. We understand that one solution does not fit every situation , so we take the time to listen and learn about each client's needs and preferences. This enables us to tailor a care program that maximizes the client's independence and dignity in the safest way possible.
Understandably, most elderly and disabled persons prefer to stay in the familiar comfort of their own homes. At Brook Valley Home, we strive for a home-like setting while meeting the needs of our residents and their families. We offer twin-sized or full-sized beds and residents are encouraged to personalize their rooms with items from their home.
Our primary goal is: to help the elderly and disabled to live as independently as possible for as long as possible.
Brook Valley Home is not an alternative to a nursing home, but rather offers an intermediate level of long-term care appropriate for many elderly and disabled seniors.
Services include:
- 24-hour care by experienced and caring staff
- Prescription refills
- Private and semi-private rooms with linens provided
- Cleaning and laundry services included in room rate
- Nutritious meals and snacks
- Medication reminders and charting
- Periodic health and wellness assessments by a nurse or resident's personal physician
- Activities appropriate to the individual resident designed to enhance their quality of life
- Birthday and Holiday Celebrations
- Scheduled trips to interesting places and events
- Non-residential Adult Day Care available Monday-Friday as our census allows
- Short-term respite care is available to other care-givers
- Open to resident's personal Medical Care Providers
- Assistance with feeding, grooming, bathing and toileting
- Our home is always open to the medical providers of our residents
Private space is available for residents' entertaining (must be pre-scheduled).

- Transportation to medical appointments
- Toiletries and personal care products
